World renowned
hotel chain Hilton will be opening its eighth hotel in Kayseri, by taking
over the operation of a five-star hotel building built by Almer Turizm in
the Central Anatolian province, the Anatolia news agency reported
yesterday.
"We have
confidence in the quality of Hilton, that's why we transferred the
operation of the hotel to Hilton," Almer Turizm executive Ali
Basyazicioglu said.
"Hilton
Kayseri will not only be a center for accomodation but will contribute to
developing tourism in the neighborhood," he added.
Almer Turizm,
the contractor, has laid the foundation of Hilton Kayseri in 1997 and
invested $35 million in the hotel. The hotel has 215 rooms including a
royal suit and eight regular suits, six conference halls, a ball room, two
restaurants, a multi-purpose hall, hall and other social facilities.
