Standard & Poor's
Ratings Services said today it raised its long-term local currency
sovereign credit ratings on the Republic of Türkiye to 'BB-' from 'B+'. At
the same time, the 'B' short-term foreign and local currency sovereign
credit ratings on Türkiye were affirmed. The outlook status was also raised
from ‘stable’ to ‘positive’.
